Carolina da Costa is a partner at Maua Asset Management for new business/funding models to support entrepreneurship, ESG, and Impact. Over 20 years of experience in high-growth, non-profit, social-impact projects and organizations based on innovative strategic models of action and governance boosted by hubs and ecosystems of learning, innovation, and problem solving.
Former VP of Insper (Teaching and Research University) and Dean of Undergraduate programs, also leading the Entrepreneurship Center and, in particular, the implementation of the new Engineering Program (with integrated, state-of-the-art technologies, design, and entrepreneurship). Conceived and implemented Insper´s Education Center for diversity & inclusion, focused on Math and Tech Education, and Paulo Cunha Innovation Hub to support companies in their innovation strategies and corporate accelerator models.
Board member of Continental LATAM of Solidaridad Network and of Hospital Oswaldo Cruz. Member of 2020 ESG committee of ANBIMA (Brazilian Association of Financial and Capital Markets) and ABVCAP (Brazilian Association of Venture Capital and Private Equity). Professor of critical thinking and innovation of Insper for senior leadership and boards. Ph.D in Cognition from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, B.A. in Public Administration (EAESP-FGV) and Master in Business and Operations (EAESP-FGV and University of Texas at Austin).
